A required CD/DVD driver is missing.

Windows installation says “A required CD/DVD driver is missing”.

This problem is faced by lots of people while installing Windows 8 or Windows 7. the installation stops at a screen saying “A required CD/DVD driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk. CD, DVD, or USB flash drive please insert it now. I also faced this problem when i was installing windows 8 on my PC. After trying so many things i found a working solution. and I am sharing it with you guys.

Things that you need :

  • A windows installation media like DVD or bootable USB. flash drive.
  • A working pc
  • Another empty USB flash drive.
solution:
  • Insert your windows installation disk in the working PC. and copy the setup files to the empty USB drive we have.
  • Now next time when you do the installations and the window pops up showing the error about missing driver. just plug-in the USB flash drive in the PC and click RESCAN. and your installation should continue without any problem.

These days we listen too many songs and we also lost many of them. And we want that that song should be your mobile ringtone or alarm tone. So here I am with another tutorial for helping making your own ringtones..

 

Things that you need:

  • Format Factory. You can download it HERE
  • Your MP3 file
  • Windows PC

let’s START:

  • Open Format Factory and click on Audio Tab on the left…..

  • In the Audio tab click All TO MP3

  • A new windows will open. drag and drop the mp3 file you want to make ringtone from…

  • After that click on SET Range……

  • Now comes the important part. When the set range window will open let the song play and when the song reaches the time where you want your ringtone to start press Start Time. And when you want your ringtone to end press End Time.

  • When you are done with the duration and start and end time Click OK, then again OK.
  • Now Click Start. Wait till it gets finished. And after that you will find your Ringtone in My Documents / FFoutput Folder………..

Network and Sharing Centre is not connected to any network


This problem is faced by many of windows 7  or 8 users and today i am going to give you a working solution for this problem.

  • In most of the cases the problem arises when you have upgraded to a newer OS. Don’t upgrade just do a clean install.
  • Check your firewall that it had allowed the network and sharing centre.

Contacts on your phone are very important for your life and you don’t want to loose it. And we all know that our phones are prone to theft and other damages. And as a result we loose our contacts and other calendar items.  But  the best way to make your contacts safe is to back up your contacts to your PC through Nokia pc suite back up option. But there is another option to copy all your contacts to your pc and even use them when you need them directly from your PC. And today I am going to tell you the way to synchronise your contacts and other important data like calendar items to-do items and notes.

 

THINGS THAT YOU NEED:

  • Nokia PC Suite
  • A nokia phone from which you want to copy contact.
  • A medium to connect your pc to your phone like usb data cable or bluetooth on both devices.

 

Lets Start……….

  1. Open Nokia PC Suite and connect your phone to your pc.

        2. Click on the synchronise button just next to the backup button in Nokia PC Suite.

        3.  Now you will get to a dialogue box looking like this one…………

         4. Now click one this setting(wrench) button on the lower right side of the dialogur box.

          5. Select the desired contact program or email program from the drop-down menu…….

         6. Now mark the items you want to sync with your PC like Calendar/To Do  Items, Contact
             Items, Notes Items, Email Items, Bookmarks and RSS Feeds.
         7. Click next and select the outlook profile you want your contacts and other items sync to.
         8. Select the time period or range of which you want to sync……..

              9. Click next and select the email items you want to sync.
             10. Click next and select the internet browser for bookmarks and RSS feeds sync….
             11. Click next and your sync process should have started.
