Transfer files between PC in a LAN easily.

Now A days everyone have more than one PC. And some time or another you get in a situation where you need to copy  files between  two PCs. So here is the tutorial for easily transferring files between two PCs easily. This tutorial can also be used to copy files in a network, or just copying files between two PC without any network.

 

Things you are gonna need:

  • Two PC running any version of Windows.
  • Any way to connect the two PCs to a same network, you can use an ethernet/LAN cable, or a modem router or any wifi router or just keep the two pc in any networkk. But the best way is to have a ethernet cable something like this:

  • And a program called Dukto R5 . It is an executable file it doesn't need any insatallation. You are also gonna need Microsoft DotNet if you don't have it already installed.

Let's get started:

  • Connect two PCs with each other through any of the given ways i.e., through an ethernet cable or a router.
  • Now you can run Dukto R5 in both PCs.
  • You should now see the other computer listed in the first one. If not see the PC listed you should check that Dukto R5 is allowed in your firewall.
  • Now you can simply click on the PC you want to send file to. and drag and drop the files you want to copy. AND bang the file will be copied the you can see the files on the desktop or the other folder you specified.

Install or Setup Windows xp from a USB device

Installing Windows XP from a USB key

Installing windows through a bootable CD is not always possible because if you you have any notebook PC or a tablet that doesn't has have any optical drive to run the CD or your optical drive could not be working. This tutorial will also help those who have downloaded an windows CD image from any torrent website and don't want to spend money on burning a CD or DVD.



Things you will need:
       1) A USB flash pen drive 
       2) A Copy of windows installation files that you have in a CD or in you hard disk
       3) A PC running any version of windows.
       4) A freeware program called WinSetupFromUSB


Preparations:
  • Download and install winsetupfromusb from the link provided or click here: WinSetupFromUSB
  • Copy your windows XP CD to any folder of your choice in your hard drive.
  • Insert your pUSB pen drive to your PC


Creating your bootable USB key:

  • First of all copy your windows installtion files to a directory.







  • Now open WinsetupfromUSB

  • Now select your usb pen drive from the drop down list
.
  • Mark your desired operating system in the list. Here we are working with windows XP setup so i m gonna select first option.
  • Now click the button on the right side of the option you have marked and choose the folder where you have copied your windows setup files. And then hit GO...


  • Wait till the process has finished.
  • Now your are ready to boot from the bootable USB you have just made...
  • Now boot from the USB drive and u will get a grub4dos menu. select windows Xp setup and XP installtion has started. Good Luck
